Passion starts with new skills

Softball - “baseball for girls“, “baseball but easier”, “sport for girls that like to get all messy and have dirt all over their outfits”.

Not really, there’s much more to it and I’m the best example! I knew I was gonna try it out at the begging of my exchange. My host school is holding three time in a row League Champions title! It all started in November, on pre-season workouts in hitting facility. And I fell in love with it, since day one. I didn’t know how deeply passionate about a sport one can be, before I started playing softball. And it changed my exchange year and FLEXperience in many ways, but only led to a positive direction. Sadly the season was cut short and I didn’t get to play much, but I for sure know that my first season wasn’t my last one. I’m already looking forward to start playing back home in Poland in one of the teams! But... I’m gonna miss American high school sports SO much! :)
