Students for a United and Resilient Europe (SURE) Program
The program is designed to empower students in Moldova, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia to promote social cohesion in communities where refugees from Ukraine reside and push back against anti-Ukraine/Ukrainian narratives online and offline, and raise awareness about disinformation from the Kremlin, its supporters, and REMVEs. The project aims to ensure peaceful coexistence for Ukrainian refugees in these countries.
The countries involved are Romania, Poland, Slovakia and the Republic of Moldova. After each semester, 5 teams reunite for in-person events and final competition in Bucharest and Vienna.The event audience will include senior leaders, subject matter experts, and invited guests.
Direct beneficiaries include university students from the four countries, while indirect beneficiaries extend to the general public, NGOs, local business communities, and the media.
