The year of changes

To be honest, I didn’t expect that this year would change me as a person that much. My appreciation for people I have, and for this that I have is much higher. My values of love, friends, and family are much deeper.

What caused it? CHANGES. You need to know that with decision of going to another country for a year, you will change. This will be a good change. It is all about going out of your comfort zone. What does it mean? It means doing things that scares you, normally you would choose to not do it because it is easier to avoid it. It doesn’t mean that you can’t change while, you are in your home country. The year of exchange provides you a lot of situations that you have to step out of your comfort zone. It provides a development of your character.

Before I went to the U.S., I thought, I know myself, and that I know my limits. I was wrong. I got to know the strongest part of myself. Everyone knows a quote “Everything is possible”. Most of the people know it only in theory. Thanks to my exchange year, I realized that everything is possible if we believe in it, and if we put our goals in actions. The exchange year was very challenging for me. Every time, when it got too hard for me,was saying to myself:

“No one said, it will be easy, but you know, it will be worth it.” 

Automatically, I was getting a lot of inspiration and power to get over my fears again and again. As you can think, it was totally worth it.
